The practice provides a complete veterinary service
We recommend your pet’s teeth are checked twice a year – if they require treatment the procedure can be carried out during the day under general anaesthetic.
At Sunninghill Veterinary Centre we offer free annual health checks for dogs, cats and rabbits, or with annual booster vaccinations as part of our Gold Star Pets.
Microchipping is a quick and painless procedure for your dog and has proved for many owners to be a fast and effective way to have their pet returned to them following them taking off while walking or escaping from a property/garden.
Neutering or spaying your pet is a simple same-day surgical procedure – an appropriate age for this operation can be discussed with you, but in both male and female dogs and cats this is usually around six months old.
Our highly advanced in-house surgical facilities at Sunninghill Veterinary Centre give us the ability to carry out minor and major surgical procedures, from spay and neuters to more complicated emergency, orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgeries.
It is important to vaccinate your pet regularly as they can easily pick up infectious diseases from other pets, wildlife and objects they come into contact with on the ground.
Every pet is susceptible to parasites such as roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms, and whipworms. Unfortunately left untreated they can make a home inside your pet and rob them of vital nutrients, leading to poor appetite, loss of energy, serious anaemia, and sadly even death.
